I became interested in learning about different cultures after
high school when I started meeting people in college who weren’t from the U.S. When I met my Finnish friend, he
had me laughing by telling me about the Wife Carrying Championship. The Wife Carrying Championship is a sport in
which men race carrying females and whoever wins receive the female's weight
in beer.
I enjoyed learning about different countries and was unaware
about International Business as a major until I took a class in San Francisco
State University. Since then, I’ve learned so much about other cultures that I
hope to travel a great deal in the future. I hope to spark interest in readers
who read this by introducing the environment of international business.
